Fort Lauderdale cosmetic Botox and dermal fillers are different tools. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a wrinkle relaxer. Fillers add volume. Mixing the words in a search box does not mix the jobs. Call (954) 794-4540 for a licensed provider callback.
What a wrinkle relaxer does
OnabotulinumtoxinA reduces muscle contraction where it is injected. Labeled Cosmetic uses in adults are frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead lines, and platysma bands. The face looks softer when those muscles move less. It does not fill a crease that is present at rest because of lost fat or sun.
What a filler does
Hyaluronic acid and other fillers sit in tissue to restore volume. They have their own FDA labels, risks, and reversal questions. The referral does not sell filler and does not name a filler brand as a Botox substitute. Never call a cream a Botox alternative.
If both are on the table, ask the provider which line is motion and which line is volume. A crow’s-feet squeeze and a trough under the eye are not the same complaint.
Questions to take into the consult
Is this line on the BOTOX Cosmetic label? Are you proposing a filler instead, or in addition? What product names will be on my chart? How long should I wait between a relaxer and a filler in the same region? Who handles a complication after hours?
Brands of toxin, still not filler
Dysport® is labeled for glabellar lines in adults younger than 65 at 50 units in five aliquots. Xeomin® has aesthetic labeling for glabellar, forehead, and lateral canthal lines, with retreatment no more often than every three months. Units are not interchangeable with BOTOX Cosmetic. None of those sentences describe a filler.
How this changes a Fort Lauderdale visit
Bright waterfront photos show both motion lines and volume loss. Be specific: “the 11s when I frown” versus “the shadow at rest.” Call (954) 794-4540. Se habla español. Read how long Botox lasts for toxin timing, not filler timing.
What to put on the chart
Write ‘relaxer’ or ‘volume’ next to each line you care about before you sit down. The 11s when you frown are a relaxer conversation on the BOTOX Cosmetic label. A shadow at rest under the eye is often volume. Mixing them in one sentence wastes the visit.
If a provider proposes both the same day, ask about swelling, bruising, and which one they want to place first. The referral will not sequence that for you.
Creams that use the word Botox in ads are not BOTOX Cosmetic. Do not bring them as proof of anything.
Dysport and Xeomin are still toxins, not fillers. Keep the families straight when you compare a friend’s chart.
Call (954) 794-4540. Se habla español.
A line that appears only when you frown is a relaxer question. A line that sits there when your face is still is often volume. Say which one you mean.
If both are proposed, ask for two consents and two product names. Mixing them on one sticky note is how charts get messy.
No cream is BOTOX Cosmetic. No syringe of filler is a wrinkle relaxer. Keep the words separate when you call (954) 794-4540.
Ask who handles a filler problem after hours. That person is not the referral.
Lips that need volume are a filler question. A lip flip is a small toxin question and is not a labeled Cosmetic indication. Keep those two ideas apart.
Under-eye hollows are almost never a BOTOX Cosmetic map. Say hollow if you mean hollow.
Ask how they document lot numbers. That is chart hygiene, not a marketing line.
A practice that offers both should still explain which syringe is which. If they cannot say the product name, wait.
Photographs that mix a relaxer and a filler in one gallery are how people get confused. Ask to see each job separately in the consult. A licensed provider in the Fort Lauderdale area still has to see you move. A consult has to watch your forehead, your smile, or your bite. Call (954) 794-4540 when you want that exam on a calendar.
