Fort Lauderdale Botox for the outer eye is a labeled Cosmetic use. BOTOX® Cosmetic is indicated for moderate to severe lateral canthal lines associated with orbicularis oculi activity in adults. The label dose is 0.1 mL (4 units) into each of three sites per side, six points, 24 units total. Frown lines use a separate 20-unit, five-site map.

Why the outer eye creases

Smiling bunches the orbicularis oculi. Years of that motion, plus bright Intracoastal glare, etch lines that point toward the temples. A relaxer does not add volume to a hollow; it reduces the squeeze. If the concern is a trough or a flat cheek, that is a filler conversation, which is a different product family.

The Botox vs fillers guide keeps those jobs apart so you can ask a clean question in the chair.

Safety near the eye

A needle does not belong near the eyeball. A licensed injector stays in the muscle at the orbital rim points on the label diagram. Tell them about dry eye, past eyelid surgery, or trouble closing the eye. The boxed warning on distant spread of toxin effect is on every BOTOX Cosmetic label; ask them to explain it in plain language.

Do not receive treatment if there is an infection at the planned site, or if you have a known allergy to an ingredient. Those limits come from the Medication Guide, not from a marketing page.

Frown and crow’s feet in one visit

Many people treat both. The maps add; they are not a bundled deal. Ask for the unit total in writing on the chart. If you only want the frown, say so. If you only want the sides, say so. The provider can still examine the whole upper face so one area does not look overdone next to another.

Call (954) 794-4540 to have a licensed provider call you back. Mention if a wedding or a work photo is on the calendar. Forehead lines and Botox for men are related visits, not the same map.

After the appointment

Follow the sheet they hand you. A general aftercare outline is on Botox aftercare. Avoid rubbing the outer eye. Sunglasses are fine. Sleep however they tell you that first night.

Results vary. A crease-free smile is not something to promise. The consult is where you decide if the labeled use matches what you want to see in the mirror.

Salt air and a lot of squinting on the Intracoastal are not diagnoses. They are reasons the outer eye gets a lot of work in this county. A licensed injector still treats the muscle on the label map, not the weather.

If you wear readers or spend the day on a bright helm, mention it. Some people recruit extra squeeze when they focus. That can change which of the three points per side does the most work.

Makeup and sunscreen at the orbital rim are day-of questions. Come with a clean outer eye if they asked you to. Do not put a new cream on a treated point until they say you can.

A smile should still look like your smile. If you want zero motion at the sides, say that out loud so they can tell you whether the labeled 24-unit map is even the right conversation.

Call (954) 794-4540 when you are ready for a callback. Bring the date of any prior toxin at the outer eye, even if it was a different brand.

A windy day on the Intracoastal makes people squint without thinking. Mention that habit so the labeled three-point map on each side matches how you actually live, not how you pose in a still photo.
